Started in 1995, as EURO UVS (European Unmanned Vehicle Systems Association), this non-profit organisation, registered with the Chamber of Commerce in The Hague, The Netherlands. The association currently has 263 corporate & institutional members in 34 countries, and is the leading international organisation dedicated to the promotion of unmanned systems (air, ground & naval). UVS International hopes that its presence at the UAS Summit Middle East 2009 will increase awareness with the UAS community in the Gulf region of the necessity of international cooperation & coordination for UAS to gain access to non-segregated airspace.
